Kathmandu. The price of gold in the Nepali market has been continuously rising, setting new records almost daily. On Thursday, gold reached its highest price ever.
This increase broke the previous record set just a day earlier. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of hallmark gold reached NPR 171,000 per tola on Thursday.
This price is NPR 300 higher compared to the previous day, when hallmark gold was traded at NPR 170,700 per tola on Wednesday.
In contrast, the price of silver saw a decline on the same day. On Thursday, silver was trading at NPR 2,090 per tola. This price is NPR 30 lower than the previous day, when silver was priced at NPR 2,120 per tola on Wednesday.
