KATHMANDU | Police have reported that three people have died in an alleged shooting in a small town in New South Wales, Australia. A fourth person has been admitted to the hospital in critical but stable condition. Local police are currently investigating the matter.
The incident took place on Thursday evening around 4:40 PM local time in Lake Cargelligo. Police have urged people to stay away from the area and advised residents to remain indoors.
According to reports, emergency services were called to the scene near Walker Street and Yelkin Street after receiving reports of gunfire. Two women and one man lost their lives in the incident.
This follows a shooting at Sydney’s Bondi Beach last month, where 15 people were killed.
