Kathmandu, November 26
NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal has canceled the auto show scheduled to be held from February 9. NADA, which has also opened stall booking for an auto show in February, took the decision after holding a meeting of the working committee on Wednesday. Earlier, preparations were made to organize an auto show from 9th to 14th of February.
NADA had planned to hold an auto show in February of this year and again in September next year. However, NADA has backtracked on its decision after most of the car dealers did not show interest in participating, saying that organizing 2/2 shows in such a short period of time would not be very effective.
General Secretary Sunil Rijal informed that the decision to hold the next auto show was taken at a time when it was being held earlier, i.e. around on the month of September next year.
NADA had been organizing auto shows every year during the festival season. But the show has not been held for the past two years due to the Corona epidemic.
