Kathmandu,Everest Bank, in its ongoing commitment to delivering contemporary banking services to diverse segments of society, recently inaugurated its 128th branch in Tokha Municipality-6, Tokha, Kathmandu.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Dr. Bal Gopal Baidhya, Chair of the Board of Directors of EBL, and Mr. Murari Tamang, Deputy Mayor of Tokha Municipality. The event, attended by notable figures including Mr. Krishna Man Shrestha from the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Mrs. Shanta Khanal Poudel, Ward Chairman of Tokha Municipality Ward No. 6, Mr. Keshab Raj Paudel, Deputy General Manager of EBL, Mr. Santosh Kumar Bhattarai, State Manager of Bagmati State EBL, and Mr. Puspa Raj Uprety, Head of Marketing & Institutional Deposit Department at Everest Bank Ltd, marked the official commencement of operations.
During the ceremony, Dr. Baidhya emphasized the bank’s commitment to providing modernized and high-quality banking services to the residents of Tokha and surrounding areas. He underscored the pivotal role banks play in the economy, emphasizing the importance of trust in the relationship between banks and customers. Mr. Tamang, the Deputy Mayor, expressed confidence that the presence of EBL in the region would significantly improve financial access for the local population.
The addition of this new branch brings EBL’s total branches in Bagmati State to 46, with 36 located within the valley. As a joint venture partner with Punjab National Bank India, EBL boasts a customer base exceeding 13 lakhs, one of the highest in the industry.
EBL, known for its professional and efficient banking services, operates through a robust domestic network comprising 128 branches, 7 State Offices, 3 Extension Counters, 163 ATMs, and 32 Revenue Collection Counters. Additionally, its extensive global network further extends the reach of its banking services.
