Kathmandu. India’s leading smart storage platform, Airattix, has officially launched its operations in Nepal, introducing a new era of flexible storage and logistics services tailored to urban demands. The grand launch event was held at Hotel Ambassador, Lazimpat, Kathmandu, with participation from top figures in Nepal’s logistics and startup ecosystem.
Airattix offers an innovative digital marketplace that connects individuals and businesses with underutilized storage spaces. From luggage and goods storage to order fulfillment and relocation services, the platform provides a much-needed solution to Nepal’s growing urban space constraints. The service is designed to benefit not only consumers but also storage providers—creating economic opportunities for homeowners and commercial vendors.
The launch was spearheaded by Mr. Aditya Kale, Founder and CEO of Airattix. A seasoned marine engineer and logistics expert, Mr. Kale previously built a successful B2B warehousing venture in India before launching Airattix as a B2C platform. “Storage is one of the major problems in the Indian subcontinent region, and that’s what inspired us to start Airattix,” Mr. Kale said during his address. He revealed that Airattix has already served over 500 customers in Nepal over the past three months and plans to expand beyond Kathmandu to cities like Pokhara and Birgunj.
The event also featured a high-profile panel discussion titled “From Idea to Execution – What Makes a Startup Stand Out?” moderated by Mr. Pratik Aryal, founder of 88 Collective Pvt. Ltd. Panelists included leading logistics figures such as Mr. Suman Rayamajhi, Managing Director of Upaya City Cargo, Mr. Santosh Bista, Chief Logistics Officer at Daraz Nepal, Mr. Samay Giri, Co-founder of Mero Storage, and Mr. Kale himself.
Rayamajhi reflected on Upaya’s journey, noting how customer awareness around logistics has evolved significantly in recent years. The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony led by Mr. Sajan Sharma, Co-founder of Mero Storage and CEO of Citytech, and Mr. Hem Gurung, Director of City Express.
