Mahindra has publicly released the technical specifications for its upcoming electric SUVs, the BE 6E and the XUV 9E. These new EVs are set to be officially launched on November 26, just four days from now.
Both EVs are being developed on Mahindra’s modular INGLO platform. Built on a “Born Electric” architecture, these vehicles are designed to be lightweight. The use of ultra-high-strength boron steel is said to contribute to improved stability by lowering the center of gravity in both models.
Both EVs will be available with rear-mounted electric motors, producing an output ranging from 228 BHP to 282 BHP. They will offer battery pack options of 59 kWh and 79 kWh, and both models will support a 175 kW fast charger. This charger can recharge the battery from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes.
The BE 6E will also be available in a dual-motor configuration, as indicated by the company. However, no information has been provided regarding its range or estimated pricing.
