Kathmandu, Nov 4
Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Kritipur and Lalitpur have organized a silent protest against the government and judicial bodies today at Maitighar Mandala.
The industrialists have started a street protest saying that the banks and financial institutions have increased the interest rates so that the industrialists cannot afford it. Industrialists and financial bank managers also attended the protest meeting organized today.
Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kathmandu had led the movement, while dozens of Chambers of Commerce and Industry from Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kirtipur and others expressed their solidarity. Vice Presidents of Nepal Industry and Commerce Association’s (FNCCI) Dinesh Shrestha, Anjan Shrestha and Ramchandra Sanghai, were in the forefront of the protest program.
Similarly, former vice president of the federation Umesh Lal Shrestha, executive members of the federation Hemraj Dhakal, Prabal Jung Pandey, Treasurer of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sushma Mahara and other thousands of businesspersons were also present in this protest.
