Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has issued a formal appeal to the United States and Israel, calling for an immediate cessation of military campaigns against Iran.
Speaking at a press conference in Beijing, Wang Yi emphasized that the current conflict should never have occurred and urged all involved parties to end hostilities and return to the path of diplomatic negotiation. He warned that the use of force cannot resolve the underlying crisis, asserting that military action alone is incapable of providing a lasting solution to complex international issues.
Furthermore, the Foreign Minister cautioned against a global regression toward the “law of the jungle,” where military might dictates international relations rather than established legal frameworks. Addressing the issue of internal stability, Wang expressed skepticism regarding the level of public support for foreign-led demands for regime change in Iran, suggesting that such calls do not reflect the widespread will of the Iranian people.
China remains firm in its stance that the crisis must be de-escalated through constructive dialogue and respect for national sovereignty rather than through continued warfare.
