Kathmandu: Since Friday night, the country has been experiencing nonstop rain, causing significant problems. Landslides in the hills and floods in the Terai have severely disrupted daily life.
The constant rain has led to waterlogged roads and disruptions in electricity and drinking water services across much of the country.

The water levels in all major rivers have risen. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has warned people to stay alert as water levels continue to rise. Residents near the Bagmati, Bishnumati, and other rivers in the Kathmandu Valley are especially advised to be cautious.
Due to the monsoon winds, the sky has been completely overcast, and it has been raining continuously since Friday night, severely impacting everyday life.
