Kathmandu – U.S. President Donald Trump has labeled Hamas as a “highly violent” organization, warning that the group faces potential destruction unless it improves its actions.
Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump emphasized that Hamas no longer has the support of Iran or any other nation, further isolating the militant group.
“Hamas has been very violent, but now they have no backing from Iran. Literally, they have no support from anyone,” Trump said. “They must do a good job. If they don’t, they will be destroyed.”
His comments come after a recent ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, though tensions remain high, with both sides accusing each other of violating the ceasefire terms in the past week.
The volatile situation continues to fuel concerns about the future of peace efforts in the region.
