Kathmandu – Brigitte Macron, the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, is preparing to present evidence in a U.S. court to prove that she is a woman.
This move comes in response to repeated claims made by pro-Trump activist Candace Owens, who has been asserting that Brigitte is actually a man.
Candace Owens has repeatedly spread the claim on social media that Brigitte Macron is a man. In response, Brigitte has filed a defamation lawsuit in the U.S. and is preparing to present scientific and photographic evidence in court to prove her gender.
Brigitte’s lawyer, Tom Clare, commented on the matter, saying, “No one is unaffected when attacks are made on their family. President Macron, too, has been impacted by this.” He added that expert testimonies and scientific proof will be presented in court.
Brigitte is also expected to present photographs of her pregnancy and the birth of her children as part of her evidence. The controversy has become more complex since March 2024, when Candace Owens stated that she would risk her entire life if the claims turned out to be false.
The issue first gained public attention in 2021, when a YouTuber named Amandine Roy gave a four-hour interview with journalist Natasha Renaud. During the interview, Natasha claimed that Brigitte Macron was actually a man and that she had conducted three years of research to back up the accusation.
The case has become a hot topic on social media, sparking widespread debate, and all eyes are now on the U.S. court as the legal proceedings unfold.
