Kathmandu – The price of gold in the Nepali market has reached a record high, marking the highest rate ever recorded in the country.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold surged by NPR 1,300 per tola on Wednesday, reaching NPR 223,000 per tola.
This marks a significant increase from Tuesday’s rate of NPR 221,700 per tola.
Silver prices have also seen a rise. As per the association, silver is now being traded at NPR 2,700 per tola, up by NPR 20 from Tuesday’s rate of NPR 2,680.
The consistent increase in precious metal prices reflects ongoing global market trends and local economic factors.
