Kathmandu – Gold prices in Nepal have reached a record high today.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of 22-carat gold has risen by NPR 3,900, now trading at NPR 221,700 per tola. This marks the highest price ever recorded for gold in the country. On Monday, gold was trading at NPR 217,800 per tola.
In addition to the rise in gold prices, silver prices have also gone up. The association reports that the price of silver has increased by NPR 30 per tola, now trading at NPR 2,680. On Monday, silver was priced at NPR 2,650 per tola.
The surge in both gold and silver prices has raised concerns among buyers and investors, as the precious metals continue to climb.
