Hyundai is preparing to launch new electric models in the coming days. According to media reports, the company will also include the electric variant of its popular SUV, the Creta, in these upcoming models. Hyundai India plans to launch three new electric cars.
Hyundai is gearing up to introduce the electric variant of its popular SUV, the Creta. This SUV has been spotted multiple times during testing. Its expected price range is between ₹1.5 million to ₹1.8 million.
The Hyundai Creta EV is likely to come with a 45 kWh battery pack, which is estimated to have a certified range of around 450 kilometers, with a real-world range of approximately 350 kilometers. The electric motor in the Hyundai Creta EV can generate a maximum power of 138 bhp and peak torque of 255 Nm.
Another electric variant from Hyundai is expected to be the Exter EV. According to media reports, the upcoming Hyundai Exter EV is anticipated to be available by 2026. The Hyundai Exter EV will compete with the Tata Punch EV in the Indian market.
After the Creta EV and Exter EV, the company is also likely to launch the electric variant of the Venue. The Hyundai Venue EV is expected to directly compete with the Tata Nexon EV. However, the company has not yet made any official statements regarding this.
