KATHMANDU – Iran has made it clear that it is fully prepared for a prolonged military conflict with the United States and Israel. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that the country is capable of sustaining a struggle for at least six months if necessary. Speaking with the Russian news channel RT, he explained that Iran has already completed preparations to endure a long-term war and will proceed according to the evolving situation on the ground. Araghchi emphasized that national security and sovereignty are paramount, asserting that they are ready to go to any lengths to protect them.
The Foreign Minister issued a direct warning to the United States, claiming that Iran is completely prepared for a potential ground invasion. “We are waiting for them,” he remarked, adding that while Iran does not seek a ground war, it will provide a crushing response if such a situation arises. He further claimed that Iran holds no fear of American ground forces and is fully capable of handling any scenario that unfolds.
Meanwhile, Iran has accused the United States and Israel of targeting a pharmaceutical plant in Tehran. According to Iranian officials, the attack hit the “Tofigh Daru” factory, a critical facility that produces raw materials for medicines used in hospitals and surgeries. The Iranian Health Ministry warned that the destruction of this production and research unit will severely impact the country’s medical supply system, while the Foreign Ministry has labeled the strike a war crime.
In response, Israel has claimed that it targeted a research center linked to chemical activities. However, no concrete evidence has been released to support this claim. This escalation highlights the deepening humanitarian and military crisis as both sides dig in for a potential long-term confrontation.
