Kathmandu: The Nepal Army directed youths gathered outside its headquarters, Jangi Adda, to move to a safer location after their presence and chanting of slogans began drawing attention. Using loudspeakers, the Army urged them to immediately disperse for safety reasons.
A number of youths, including members of various Gen-Z groups and supporters of Harka Sampang, had gathered outside the headquarters. The scene also attracted a large media presence, prompting the Army to begin dispersing the crowd.
During the gathering, one group of youths identifying themselves as part of the Gen-Z movement announced plans to enter into dialogue. However, another group opposed the move. Meanwhile, supporters of Harka Sampang objected to the proposal of Gen-Z members to involve former Chief Justice Sushila Karki, sparking further disagreement among the demonstrators.
