Kathmandu: Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) Nepal is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with JITO TNAPTS Zone- Hyderabad, Coimbatore, and Visakhapatnam Chapters, establishing a sister chapter relationship. The signing ceremony took place on 30th April, 2024 at Hyatt Regency, Kathmandu, Nepal with Mr. Kamal Kumar Begani serving as the Chairman of the Nepal Chapter.
JITO is a community of visionary Jain Industrialists, Businessmen, and Professionals across the globe, comprising 15,411 active members in 28 international locations including the USA, European Countries, Australia and India serving to the objectives of Economic Empowerment, Knowledge, and Service.
JITO Nepal Chapter, incorporated in the year 2017 under The Companies Act, 2063, operates with similar objectives to its parent organization, aiming to bring together Jain business professionals and entrepreneurs in Nepal to promote ethical business practices, networking, and social responsibility. JITO Nepal facilitates connections among its members, fosters knowledge exchange, and provides opportunities for skill development and mentorship within the Nepalese Jain business community. Through its endeavors, JITO Nepal contributes to both economic growth and social welfare in the country.
The MOU signing between JITO Nepal and TNAPTS Zone was attended by about 200 members from the TNAPTS zones. The signing will facilitate involved entities to collaborate and support each other’s objectives and activities. These collaborations can lead to enhanced networking opportunities, resource sharing, knowledge sharing, geographical expansion, cultural exchange and collective efforts in philanthropic endeavors, further strengthening the bond between sister chapters and fostering greater impact within the Jain business community.
In addition to this landmark agreement, JITO Nepal and its Youth Wing has organized a trek to the Everest Base Camp from 1st May to 12th May, with a total of 18 participants aged 17 to 74 years hailing from India, Nepal, Dubai and Thailand. This event is also expected to boost the tourism in the country by highlighting Nepal’s natural beauty and adventure tourism offerings to the international community.
