Kathmandu : The demand for electric scooters is increasing in Nepal. With over three dozen brands selling electric scooters in a competitive market, Luyan Nepal has focused more on expanding its service network than many others.
Post-sale service is quick, efficient, and effective, and the company has set up 14 service centers within the Kathmandu Valley. This has made Luyan Nepal the leader in service center facilities.
Currently, Luyan Nepal operates service centers in locations like Bafal, Bansthali, Samakhushi, Tokharoad, Maharajgunj, Kalopul, Anamnagar, Jadibuti, Sallaghari, Surya Vinayak, Dudhpati, Satdobato, Gwarako, and Ramkot, as mentioned by the company’s managing director, Durvas Nagarkoti.
He said that the expansion of service centers is aimed at making access easier for customers. “This process will continue. Our goal is to provide customers with easy, fast, and quality service,” Nagarkoti added. “Many companies selling electric vehicles in Nepal have not given enough attention to post-sale service. Most companies operate service centers in limited areas, causing inconvenience for customers even for small repairs. Many brands focus solely on sales, neglecting the importance of after-sales service, which negatively affects long-term customer satisfaction.”
Luyan Nepal claims to be ahead of other electric scooter companies in the area of service centers. They also have plans to expand the number of service centers in major cities beyond Kathmandu, as stated by the company’s Sales and Marketing Head, Shankar Sharma. “Service centers with skilled and trained technicians are making it easier for customers to get scooter repairs, battery testing, and other issue resolutions,” he said.
Luyan Nepal also plans to launch electric scooters under the “Saarthi E-scooter” brand, with assembly planned in Nepal by next year. After launching the e3 model of the E-scooter recently, the company plans to expand service center reach to other cities and regions in the near future.
