KATHMANDU: Nepal Bank Limited has introduced an affordable home loan scheme offering low interest rates and service charges for 90 days to mark its 90th anniversary.
Under the scheme, customers can obtain loans to purchase, construct or renovate houses, as well as purchase apartments.
According to the bank, the interest rate will start at a premium of 0.5 percent over the bank’s base rate. The loan repayment period will extend up to 25 years, while the service charge has been set at just 0.25 percent.
Customers taking out loans under the scheme will also receive a lifetime free credit card facility with a limit of up to Rs 500,000, along with a 50 percent discount on the annual charge for locker facilities.
The bank said the scheme will remain available for 90 days, from Kartik 15 to Magh 15.
The initiative aims to make home financing more accessible by offering affordable borrowing options and additional banking benefits to customers during the bank’s anniversary celebration.
