Kathmandu, June 10
The NEPSE index closed at 2,048.16 today after losing 14.64 points from the last trading day’s closing. This is a loss of 0.71%. The index had lost 17.64 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,067.76 and made an intraday high of 2,070.01. It then made an intraday low at 2,036.55 and ultimately closed at 2,048.16 levels.
229 scrips traded hands via 18,617 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,045,838 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 89.41 crores in the turnover amount. This is way lower than last trading day’s turnover of Rs. 1.472 Arba.
Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 5.05 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 208.5. The shares of NABIL BALANCED FUND-2 (NBF2) traded the most.
Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (ULBSL) and Green Ventures Limited (GVL) gained the highest 10% each and hit the positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBSL) lost the highest 5.75% today.
All sector indices closed red, “Manu.& Pro.” lost the highest 2.02% while “HydroPower” lost the least 0.3%.
