Kathmandu, May 11
The NEPSE index closed at 2,369.06 today after gaining 56.06 points from yesterday’s closing. This is a gain of 2.42%. The index had gained 44.16 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,313.28 points, which is also the intraday low. The index went intraday high and closed at 2,369.06
229 scrips traded hands via 37,770 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 5,333,109 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.16 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday’s turnover of Rs. 1.356 Arba.
Arun Valley Hydropower Development Co. Ltd. (AHPC) traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 10.59 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 450 per share.
Six scrips gained all they could for the day and hit the positive circuit breaker for the day.
On the other side of things, 8.5% Sanima Debenture 2087 (SBD87) lost the highest 1.63% today.
All sector indices closed green, “HydroPower” gained the highest 4.97 % while “Mutual Fund” gained the least 0.83%
