Lalitpur : The newly appointed Deputy Prime Minister and ministers from the Nepali Congress in the newly formed coalition government visited the party’s central office in Sanepa, Lalitpur. During the occasion, they laid wreaths on the statue of NC veteran leader Bishweshwor Prasad (BP) Koirala.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana, Minister for Youth and Sports Tejulal Chaudhary, Minister for Health and Population Pradeep Paudel, Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Ajay Kumar Chaudhary, Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey, Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Ramnath Adhikari, Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation Deepak Khadka, and Minister for Forest and Environment Ain Bahadur Shahi paid homage to Nepal’s first people’s elected Prime Minister.
Earlier today, after taking the oath of office and secrecy before President Ramchandra Paudel at Shital Niwas, the ministers visited Shantibatika in Ratnapark to lay wreaths at the idol of Ganesh Man Singh, widely known as the ‘iron man’ of Nepali politics.
