Kathmandu, June 3
Oil Corporation has reduced the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene by Rs 10 after the government reduced the infrastructure tax. A meeting of the corporation’s board of directors on Thursday decided to reduce the price of petroleum products except gas and aviation fuel, said Binit Mani Upadhyaya, spokesperson of the corporation.
Petrol will now cost Rs 170 per liter and diesel and kerosene Rs 153 per liter. The government had announced to reduce the tax on petrol through the budget statement.
