Prince Andrew, the brother of King Charles III, has been arrested on charges of abusing his public office. BBC reported that the arrest took place on Thursday morning at the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, England.
The former prince is being investigated over allegations that he shared confidential information with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Prince Andrew has repeatedly denied any involvement in illegal activities. He had already relinquished his royal title of ‘Prince’ and was forced to leave his residence at Royal Lodge in Windsor following previous controversies surrounding his association with Epstein.
This is not the first time that Prince Andrew has found himself embroiled in scandal due to his links with Epstein. However, he has consistently denied any wrongdoing and continues to reject allegations of misconduct. The investigation into his involvement in the Epstein case is ongoing.
