The government has increased the fare for public transport starting from yesterday.

The Department of Transport Management has raised the fare for public transport vehicles operating between provinces, including passenger and cargo vehicles. The fare for passenger vehicles has been increased by 3.30%, while the fare for cargo vehicles operating on hilly routes has been increased by 0.81%, and for cargo vehicles on Terai routes, the fare has been increased by 0.05%.
