Kathmandu – The Bajaj Pulsar NS 400 Z, featuring the largest engine in the Pulsar lineup, is currently making waves in the Nepali market. This new motorcycle was recently launched by Hansraj Hulaschand & Co. at the NADA Auto Show 2024.
The much-anticipated Bajaj Pulsar NS 400 Z is equipped with a 373 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, delivering 39.4 brake horsepower and 35 Nm of torque. It features a 6-speed gearbox, allowing for smooth gear shifts. Additionally, the Pulsar NS 400 Z incorporates Ride-by-Wire technology, providing excellent throttle response while reducing fuel consumption.
Bajaj claims the Pulsar NS 400 Z is their best model yet. It includes four riding modes: Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road. The bike also features switchable traction control and dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety across various road conditions.
A new full-color LCD screen with Bluetooth connectivity is part of the package, offering turn-by-turn navigation, music control, and other essential riding data.
The Pulsar NS 400 Z is designed with a muscular and aerodynamic profile. It comes with a stylish fuel tank, comfortable split seats, and 17-inch alloy wheels. With a 12-liter fuel tank and a seat height of 807 mm, the Pulsar NS 400 Z is suitable for both city rides and long-distance journeys.
Interestingly, Bajaj has used the same engine as in the Dominar 400 for this new model. Despite having almost identical features and engine specs, the Pulsar NS 400 Z is priced 40,000 NPR less than the Dominar 400. While the Dominar 400 is priced at 600,000 NPR, the Pulsar NS 400 Z costs only 560,000 NPR. This price difference has made the Pulsar NS 400 Z a hot topic among young riders.
