Kathmandu:This year’s NADA Auto Show showcased a variety of new premium EVs from several brands. While most of these EVs managed to capture the attention of auto enthusiasts, it was evident that Deepal has garnered increasing interest from customers. The crowd at Deepal’s booth at NADA was a clear indication of the brand’s growing appeal among EV aficionados.
According to sales representatives at the Deepal booth, by the fifth day, 96 units of Deepal had already been booked. From the first day of the auto show, the Deepal booth attracted a significant number of visitors. So, what is it about Deepal EVs that has made them so appealing to auto enthusiasts? Deepal boasts a range of features that are not available in newly introduced brands, making it stand out as a premium model at NADA.
These unique features have positioned Deepal as a leading premium EV in Nepal, distinguishing it from other recently introduced brands.
While premium features like flush handles, frameless doors, and welcoming seats have become quite common among many brands’ EVs, Deepal stands out with its cutting-edge features that are not typically found in recently introduced brands. Dipal’s advanced technology includes a Sunflower touch screen, AR HUD, gesture control, intelligent scenario modes, headrest speakers, outdoor speakers, 360-degree surround view video recording, dash camera, and rear seat control, making it Nepal’s most futuristic EV.
The Deepal EV features a 15.8-inch interactive Sunflower touch screen that rotates to face the user, enhancing interaction. It also comes equipped with an augmented reality (AR) head-up display (HUD) that projects information such as vehicle speed, outside temperature, 3D navigation, and traffic signals directly onto the windshield. This feature not only elevates the driving experience but also improves safety.
Another innovative feature available in the Deepal S07 is gesture control. This allows users to command the vehicle with hand gestures, enabling actions like taking selfies, playing or pausing music, and answering calls with just gestures. Additionally, the Dipal includes intelligent scenario modes like Baby Care, Nap, Smoke, and Car Wash, which are typically found only in premium and highly expensive EVs like Teslas.
The Deepal EV is equipped with 14 Sony-branded speakers, significantly enhancing the driving experience. It features dedicated headrest speakers for the driver, ensuring a personalized audio experience. Additionally, for picnics and parties, outdoor speakers are installed in the bonnet.
The Deepal also offers 360-degree video recording, a dash camera, and rear seat control. With these features, passengers in the rear seats can adjust the sunshade, control the air conditioning temperature, and even manage the front passenger’s seating position.
