Samsung Nepal has announced the public release of the One UI 7 beta program, offering users an early look at an AI-powered mobile experience. This new version introduces AI-first features designed to provide intuitive controls and highly personalized mobile experiences. One UI 7 is a significant leap forward, bringing advanced AI agents and multimodal capabilities to every touchpoint of the interface, making interactions more natural and intuitive. The beta release offers a preview of what’s to come, featuring upgraded features and an enhanced user experience.
AI Enhancements for Intuitive User Experiences
One UI 7 brings powerful updates to the Galaxy AI suite, particularly in writing assist tools. Integrated into the operating system, these tools help users increase productivity by allowing them to select text and perform actions without needing to switch apps. Building on the existing Galaxy writing assist features, One UI 7 offers AI-powered options to summarize content, check grammar and spelling, and convert notes into bullet points automatically.
Call features have also been upgraded. One UI 7 introduces call transcripts in 20 languages, making it easier to capture and reference call information. With call recording enabled, transcripts are generated automatically, saving users from having to take notes manually during calls.
Bold New Design for Personalization and Control
Alongside its powerful AI capabilities, One UI 7 features a bold new design aimed at enhancing personalization and control. The updated notification system includes a Now Bar, which provides quick access to key activities such as Interpreter, Music, Recording, Stopwatch, and more, directly from the lock screen. This feature minimizes the need to unlock the device constantly, allowing users to engage with important notifications effortlessly. Now Bar will be featured on upcoming Galaxy S series devices and will continue evolving to offer more intelligent experiences.
This design overhaul emphasizes simplicity and cohesiveness, reducing visual clutter and fostering a more inviting, personalized experience. One UI 7 introduces a simplified home screen, redesigned widgets, and a revamped lock screen. These features provide users with greater control over customization, ensuring an intuitive and seamless experience.
Intuitive Camera UX and Enhanced Control
One UI 7 also brings a redesigned camera interface for better control and usability. The camera buttons and settings have been reorganized to provide easier access to advanced features, with a clearer preview of the pictures or videos being captured. In Pro and Pro Video modes, manual settings have been simplified, giving users a more intuitive control over their shots. A new zoom control feature in Pro video mode allows for smoother transitions during recordings.
Looking Ahead: Official One UI 7 Release in 2025
The official One UI 7 release will roll out with the upcoming Galaxy S series devices in the first quarter of 2025. It will bring even more enhanced AI capabilities, including improved on-device AI functions. Following this, the update will gradually be made available to other Galaxy devices in line with Samsung’s commitment to extend its OS upgrade policy.
