Cimex Introduces Industry-Leading Extended Warranty on BYD Electric Vehicles in Nepal

Kathmandu – Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of BYD Auto Industry Co. Ltd. in Nepal, is proud to announce the implementation of a comprehensive Extended Warranty Policy on all BYD Electric Vehicles (EVs) sale in Nepal, setting a new industry benchmark in EV after-sales support.

In line with our unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction and confidence in BYD’s advanced electric vehicle technology, the new warranty coverage includes:

• Battery Warranty
  Extended from 8 years / 160,000 km to 10 years / 200,000 km – the longest coverage in the EV industry.
• Motor Warranty
  Extended from 8 years / 150,000 km to 10 years / 200,000 km, ensuring prolonged peace of mind for our valued customers.
• Whole Vehicle Warranty
  Coverage for components such as lights, tire pressure monitoring modules, suspension, and ball joints has been enhanced from 4 years / 100,000 km to 5 years / 125,000 km.
• General Vehicle Parts Warranty
  Warranty on all other vehicle parts—excluding consumables and parts listed in the exclusions such as various kinds of oil, charging equipment, gifts, and refrigerants—has been upgraded from 6 years / 150,000 km to an impressive 5 years / 187,500 km.
