Kathmandu, April 25
The NEPSE index closed at 2,386.01 today after losing 34.95 from the last trading day’s closing. This is a loss of 1.44%. The index had gained 95.46 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,423.74 today and made the intraday high at 2,443.95. It then made the intraday low at 2,382.37 and closed at 2,386.01.
239 scrip’s traded hands via 46,401 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 5,047,769 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.0422 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday’s turnover of Rs. 2.531 Arba.
Arun Valley Hydropower Development Co. Ltd. (AHPC) traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 8.11 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 421 per share.
Jalpa Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (JALPA) gained 9.99% and technically hit the positive circuit breaker for the day.
On the other side of things, Central Finance Co. Ltd. (CFCL) lost the highest 5.33% today.
Two of thirteen sector indices closed green today. “Mutual Fund” gained the highest 0.82% while “Others” lost the highest 2.26%.
