Kathmandu – Laxmi Motor Corporation, which produces Hyundai vehicles in Nepal, has begun production of the new variant, Hyundai Venue E. The company previously started producing the Venue S and SX variants in May 2024. Laxmi Motor Corporation is a sister company of Laxmi Intercontinental, the official dealer for Hyundai cars in Nepal.
With the commencement of commercial production of the Hyundai Venue in Nepal, the company also launched the campaign “HYUNDAI NEPAL: MADE FOR YOUR JOURNEY.” So far, the company has reported selling approximately 250 vehicles through its dealers. The introductory price for the Hyundai Venue E is set at NPR 40,96,000 for a limited time. However, the company has stated that there will be no additional discounts during the ongoing Dashain-Tihar promotional campaign.
Among the other available Venue variants, the price for the Venue S is NPR 44,96,000, and for the Venue SX 1.2, it is NPR 53,56,000. The company offers 10 years of free servicing and a 3-year warranty on the locally made Hyundai Venue.
Laxmi Motor Corporation was established with investment from the Laxmi Group and technical collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company. The company aims to contribute to the country’s industrialization, import substitution, job creation, increased internal revenue, skill and technology development, establishment of auxiliary industries, domestic resource and energy consumption, and providing vehicles at affordable prices.
Laxmi Motor Corporation has announced plans to increase production of additional variants and other models in the future.
