Kathmandu: All preparations have been completed for the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 – Nepal’s Largest Auto Expo, organized by the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA), scheduled to take place at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, from Shrawan 26 to 31, 2083 BS (August 11–16, 2026).
The auto show will be formally inaugurated on Shrawan 26, 2083 BS (August 11, 2026) at 9:00 AM at the Blue Pavilion Auditorium Hall located within the Nepal Police Club. The inauguration session will see the special presence of high-ranking officials from the Government of Nepal, representatives from various diplomatic missions, leadership of prestigious associations, office bearers and member institutions of the NAIMA Board of Directors, NAIMA Nepal exhibition partner organizations, and key stakeholders from the automotive sector.
Throughout the expo, high-level sessions including Learning Sessions, Policy Dialogues, and Industry Interactions will be conducted by national and international experts. As Nepal’s largest mobility exhibition, the expo will feature active participation from over 55 national and international automobile and mobility brands.
Ritu Singh Vaidya, President of NAIMA, stated that NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 is not merely a platform to display the current state of Nepal’s mobility sector, but a critical venue to chart its future direction. “All preparations for the expo have been fully completed,” she said. “In this edition, we are bringing the latest technological advancements, innovations, and sustainable mobility solutions directly to Nepali consumers. The enthusiastic participation from the industry sector has further strengthened our trust and confidence in this grand event.”
Similarly, Gaurav Sarada, Chairman of the Auto Show Planning Committee, stated that under the leadership and guidance of the NAIMA Board and various committees, the secretariat has been continuously coordinating with member companies, exhibitors, partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to advance all event preparations.
“This time, along with the exhibition, we have placed special emphasis on Learning Sessions, training, and public awareness programs,” he said. “Our objective is to bring together national and international experts, industry leaders, students, and stakeholders to foster knowledge sharing, skill development, and enhance public awareness towards safe and responsible mobility.”
Raj Kumar Dulal, Executive Director of NAIMA, shared that the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo will serve as a hub for exhibition, learning, and awareness creation. “We cordially invite everyone to participate in the various Learning Sessions, Policy Dialogues, and Industry Interactions organized across all six days of the event,” he added.
Following the conclusion of the inauguration ceremony, the expo will open to the general public from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM on the opening day, Shrawan 26, 2083 BS (August 11, 2026). On the remaining days, the expo hours will be from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily.
