Hyundai has officially revealed its highly anticipated Creta EV ahead of its official launch. The new EV will be showcased at the upcoming India Mobility Expo on January 17.
The Creta EV will be available in two battery options: 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh, offering a claimed range of 390 km and 473 km, respectively. Additionally, the long-range version is said to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds.
The battery of this new EV can be charged using a fast charger, reaching 10 to 80% in 58 minutes. With an 11 kW smart connected wall box charger, it can be fully charged from 10 to 100% in 4 hours. The car also features Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, allowing users to power external devices.
The electric SUV will be available in four variants: Executive, Smart, Premium, and Excellence. It features a Shift-by-Wire system and comes with a digital key, allowing users to lock, unlock, and start the car using their smartphone or smartwatch.
The exterior design of the Creta EV will resemble that of the regular Creta. It will feature vertically stacked headlights, L-shaped LED DRLs, and taillights, along with LED light bars on both sides. The car will come with aero-optimized 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels paired with low rolling resistance tires.
The Creta EV will be offered in 8 monotone and 2 dual-tone color options, including 3 matte finishes. The pricing for this new car will be revealed on January 17.
