Cherry’s new SUV, the Fullwin A8L, has set a Guinness World Record as the hybrid car with the longest range. The vehicle achieved a mileage of 2,369 kilometers on a full charge and a full fuel tank, establishing a new world record.
The plug-in hybrid car is equipped with a 1.5T engine. Built on the CDM 5.0 powertrain, the car has a combined power of 265 kW and torque of 530 Nm. The 18.67 kWh battery installed in the car is claimed to offer an electric range of 145 kilometers on a full charge.
The Fullwin A8L will be available in five variants, with prices ranging from $15,100 to $20,600 USD. Each variant features different powertrains, with one version equipped with a 9.53 kWh battery offering an electric range of 70 kilometers.
The car comes with a range of features including a 15.6-inch floating infotainment screen, a 12.25-inch LCD instrument cluster, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip control, electric seat adjustments, heating and ventilation, and more. Additionally, it includes Bluetooth key entry, 50W wireless mobile phone charging, a 540-degree transparent chassis view, 10 airbags, and an 8-speaker Sony sound system.
