American technology company Apple has officially confirmed that it will host a special “Apple Experience” event on March 4. Unlike its usual product launches through press releases, this time Apple is shifting its strategy to focus on a live experience-oriented event. The event, named “Experience,” will offer an opportunity for journalists and tech experts to get hands-on with and test the new devices.
The most anticipated announcement at the event is the unveiling of the iPhone 17E. This smartphone is targeted at the mid-range market and is expected to cater to users who want the latest Apple experience at a more affordable price. The device is said to offer a striking design along with powerful performance.
There are also rumors that Apple will introduce a new MacBook Air with the latest M5 chip. Additionally, a more affordable MacBook, priced around $700 USD, might be launched. It is speculated that Apple will use a processor initially seen in the iPhone to reduce costs. Bright colors like yellow, blue, and green featured on the event invitations hint that new iPads and iPad Air might be released in these shades. These devices are also expected to fully support Apple’s artificial intelligence system, “Apple Intelligence.”
The new iPhone 17E is said to feature a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, with front and back glass protected by Ceramic Shield, and an aluminum frame. It will be dust and water-resistant (up to 6 meters depth for 30 minutes).
Under the hood, the phone will come equipped with the Apple A19 (3nm) chipset, a 6-core processor, and a 4-core graphics unit. Storage options include 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, with an option to expand RAM by 8GB.
The camera setup will feature a 48MP main camera and a 18MP front camera, capable of recording 4K video. It will be powered by a 4005mAh battery, with both wired and 25W wireless charging capabilities.
The iPhone 17E is expected to come in black, silver, and purple colors. Its price is speculated to start at approximately NPR 120,000.
