Kathmandu. At least three people have been injured in Bahrain by falling missile fragments during an attack launched by Iran. Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior stated that the individuals were wounded by missile debris that fell during the strikes originating from the Iranian side.
According to the Ministry, the falling debris also caused damage to a university building in the city of Muharraq. In a statement released via social media, the Ministry confirmed that the injuries were specifically caused by falling missile fragments.
Muharraq is the third most populous city in Bahrain. Security forces and rescue teams were reportedly dispatched to the site immediately following the incident. In recent days, security alerts have been heightened across several countries in the Gulf region due to an increase in missile and unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) attacks. Meanwhile, numerous buildings in Lebanon have also been destroyed following Israeli airstrikes in that area.
