NYEF Lalitpur held Annual General Meeting 2022

Kathmandu, June 9

Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum- Lalitpur Chapter (NYEF Lalitpur)* is an entity developed by young aspiring entrepreneurs of Nepal. With the mission of growth with shared vision, hunger for learning, nation first and making a mark, NYEF Lalitpur a membership-based non-profit organization, aims at creating exceptional entrepreneurs through idea exchange, fellowships, education, training and advocacy among the Nepali youth communities. The chapter was officially inaugurated on 15th December, 2021 last year and is one of the newest chapters under the NYEF wing.

As a milestone event, on the 9th of June 2022, NYEF Lalitpur Chapter conducted their first Annual General Meeting, at Radisson Hotel, Lazimpat. The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest, Mr. Dinesh Shrestha, Executive Committee Member and Vice President of the Industry Department of FNCCI and NYEF National Governing Council President Mr. Udeep Shrestha.

NYEF Lalitpur announced Mr. Raj Shrestha, previously Vice President of the Chapter and a member of its Executive Committee, as the President of the Chapter. Effective from June 2022, Mr. Raj Shrestha succeeds Mr. Aabhushan Jyoti Kansakar, former President, who will continue to serve as an advisory member and the Immediate Past President from hereon. In his strategic message, Raj emphasized on spearheading an action-driven leadership that will place paramount importance on accelerated “growth” as the year-round goal.

The AGM was divided into two sessions, closed and open, whereby the Annual Financial Report and the Annual Program Report of the previous tenure was presented by Mr. Raj Shrestha and Mr. Subin Shrestha, the newly appointed Vice President for the Chapter. Along with that, the Chapter also officially announced their Executive Board Members, who are individuals from a wide range of industries bringing in their expertise and knowledge in taking forward the mission of the chapter for this fiscal year.
