Kathmandu – Simex Inc., the official distributor of BYD in Nepal, has announced the retail price of the M6 MPV that will be available in the Nepalese market.
According to the customs price list, the price of the vehicle with 55.4 kWh and 71.8 kWh battery capacities will be NPR 5.5 million and NPR 6.015 million, respectively.
The M6 will feature 55.4 kWh and 71.8 kWh battery options and a 100 kW motor. Simex is expected to make this model available in the Nepalese market shortly, although official details have not yet been released.
The M6 is a multipurpose vehicle available in both 5 and 7-seat configurations. The company recently produced a right-hand drive version of the M6, which incorporates BYD’s advanced new Blade Battery technology.
The M6 is seen as a successor to the E6 previously offered by BYD and is being sold as the E-Max 7 in India. It is reported to have a range of 420 km and 530 km on a single charge, depending on the battery variant.
Notable features of the M6 include a Dragon Face design, speedy dynamic wheel hubs, crystal diamond floating LED headlamps, electric elegance, a panoramic glass roof with electric slide, and a Vehicle to Load (V2L) mobile power station.
Simex Inc. was expected to showcase this vehicle at the NADA Auto Show 2024 held last September. Now, the vehicle is set to be available in the Nepalese market.
