Hyundai Motor India has launched the Adventure Edition of its popular sub-4 meter SUV, the Venue, in the Indian market. This new version is based on the top variant, the S(O) Plus, and the SX variant, featuring a 1-liter turbo petrol engine.
The Hyundai Venue Adventure Edition comes with a black design theme. It includes a black grille, black alloy wheels, and robust black door cladding, along with black front and rear skid plates, black ORVMs, and black roof rails. Additionally, it features red front brake calipers.
The interior boasts a black theme with green color inserts, along with contrasting green stitching in a dual-tone blue and green setup. The SUV includes black 3D mats and metal pedals, as well as a dashcam equipped with dual cameras.
The S(O) variant features LED projector headlights, LED taillights, and 15-inch steel wheels with covers. Inside, it offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a sunroof, and an 8-inch touchscreen with a height-adjustable driver seat. Safety features include six airbags and a tire pressure monitoring system.
The SX variant adds wireless phone charging, a cooled glovebox, and puddle lamps. It also includes reclining rear seats with a 60:40 split function and push-button start/stop features. The SX (O) variant features semi-leather seat upholstery, ambient lighting, and a power driver seat, along with an air purifier.
There are no mechanical changes in the Hyundai Venue Adventure Edition. It offers two engine options: a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine available with a manual transmission, and a 1-liter turbo petrol engine with both manual and DCT automatic transmission options. Additionally, a 1.5-liter diesel engine option is available in other variants, exclusively with a manual gearbox.
The SUV will compete with the Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and Maruti Fronx.
