Kathmandu: The NEPSE index witnessed an increase of 11.58 points today, the first day of the share transaction of this week.
With the growth of 11.58 points, the share market was closed at 2,588.35.
The NEPSE stated that a total of 12.48 million plus shares of 325 companies were traded and the total volume of business was more than Rs 5.9 billion.
All groups except finance, hotel, production, micro finance and mutual funds witnessed a rise in the share market on Sunday.
Eastern Hydropower, Atmanirbhar Laghubitta and Upper Sangee Hydropower recorded positive circuit while Rawa Energy Development suffered the highest loss of 8.65 per cent in the trading.
Based on the transaction amount, CEDB Hydropower Development Company topped the trading volume with the trade of Rs 278 million, according to the NEPSE.
