Honda is set to launch the new Honda Amaze SUV on December 4. Some images of the vehicle have already been leaked on social media, revealing details about both its interior and exterior. The new Honda Amaze will feature a fresh design and advanced features.
The new Honda Amaze has been given a bold design, similar to the Honda City and Elevate. Its front features a large grille with DRLs on both sides and sleek LED headlights. Above the grille is a connected chrome strip, and the upgraded clamshell bonnet adds a premium touch. At the rear, the SUV is equipped with LED tail lamps and a redesigned bumper. Additionally, the Amaze comes with a shark fin antenna, a reverse camera, and new alloy wheels. The design of the new Amaze is quite different from the previous model.
Inside, the new Honda Amaze boasts a new dashboard, a large 8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a semi-digital instrument cluster. The cabin features premium touches such as a dual-tone color scheme and new upholstery. Other features include automatic air conditioning, rear AC vents, and a wireless phone charger. The top variant of the Amaze will also offer a single-pane sunroof.
For safety, the new Honda Amaze is equipped with 6 airbags, an advanced driver assistance system, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and autonomous emergency braking. It also includes safety features like ABS with EBD, hill-hold assist, and parking sensors with a reverse camera.
The new Amaze retains the same 1.2-liter petrol engine from the previous model, which generates 90 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. There is also the possibility of launching a CNG variant of the new Honda Amaze.
The price of the new Amaze is expected to be higher than the current model, which ranges from 7.03 lakh to 10 lakh Indian currency. The new Amaze will compete in the Indian market with rivals like the Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor.
