Kathmandu – Nepal Oil Corporation has increased the prices of petrol and diesel, while reducing the price of jet fuel. The Corporation’s board meeting on Tuesday decided to raise the prices of petrol and diesel by Rs 1 per liter and Rs 2 per liter, respectively, effective from midnight.
The Corporation also reduced the price of jet fuel by Rs 2 per liter for domestic flights and by USD 15 per kiloliter for international flights to Kathmandu. The price of international jet fuel for Pokhara and Bhairahawa remains unchanged.
With the price adjustment, the new prices are as follows: for petrol, Rs 160.50 per liter for the first class, Rs 162 for the second class, and Rs 163 for the third class. For diesel, the price is Rs 150.50 per liter for the first class, Rs 152 for the second class, and Rs 153 for the third class.
