US President Donald Trump has reportedly instructed government agencies to begin the process of locating and releasing files related to UFOs and aliens.
For years, some individuals have been calling for these files to be made public. Trump has directed the Secretary of Defense and other relevant departments to identify and release all government files related to alien life, unidentified aerial phenomena, and unidentified flying objects (UFOs). He did not specify whether classified documents would be included, only stating that all information related to these matters must be included.
Previously, Trump had claimed that former President Barack Obama had recently made public secret information about the existence of aliens during a viral podcast.
Obama, during a conversation with podcast host Brian Tyler Cohen, had stated that aliens “really exist,” but that he had not seen them and that they were not kept at Area 51. Area 51 is a highly secretive US military base that has been the subject of many conspiracy theories. Obama also clarified that there were no secret bunker facilities at the base. In response to Obama’s statement, Trump accused him of releasing classified information and stated that Obama had made a huge mistake.
