Citizens Bank Limited has announced a contribution of NPR 2.5 million to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund to aid flood victims. Recently, heavy rainfall has severely impacted many areas of Nepal, disrupting daily life and transportation.
Tragically, there have been reported fatalities due to flooding in various rivers, including in the capital, Kathmandu, which continues to experience ongoing rainfall and flooding challenges.
In line with its commitment to corporate social responsibility, Citizens Bank is dedicated to assisting those in need. CEO Ganesh Raj Pokharel stated, “At Citizens Bank, we are extending our support during this critical time and helping various districts with our limited resources.” The funds will be handed over to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.
