Kathmandu. In a strategic move to bring services closer to its customers, Ncell Axiata Limited has launched its first-ever ‘Ncell Shop-in-Shop’ in Bhairahawa. The new service outlet, established in partnership with New Lumbini A 2 Z Mobile, was officially inaugurated on Thursday amid a special ceremony.
Located in Mailawar, Bhairahawa, the Shop-in-Shop was inaugurated by Ncell’s Chief of Staff, Stephen Rodriguez. During the launch, Rodriguez emphasized Ncell’s commitment to enhancing accessibility and delivering top-tier customer service through innovative service delivery models.
“Our customers will now be able to access all customer care services from their nearby Shop-in-Shop. This first Shop-in-Shop, which has officially come into operation today, is an example of the model we aim to expand across different parts of the country. We are working on rolling out more Shop-in-Shops nationwide to broaden and enhance customer service. We remain fully committed to serving our customers in line with our theme ‘Here for You’,” said Rodriguez.
The Shop-in-Shop is designed to provide a full range of Ncell services similar to those available at Ncell Centres. Customers will be able to purchase new SIM cards, recharge accounts, update Know Your Customer (KYC) details, reverify SIM ownership, switch to eSIM, configure internet settings, and subscribe to popular packs such as the ‘Sadhain ON Renewal’.
To celebrate the launch, Ncell hosted a ‘Spin and Win’ game at the venue, with Rodriguez personally handing out prizes to participating visitors, adding a festive atmosphere to the opening.
The Shop-in-Shop will operate six days a week, from Sunday to Friday, ensuring convenience and accessibility for local residents. With 33 Ncell Centres already operational across Nepal, this new initiative marks a significant step in Ncell’s broader strategy to enhance customer service reach through innovative partnerships and localized service points.
