Kathmandu – A new Chinese electric vehicle (EV) brand, “LS Auto,” has officially entered the Nepali market. The official distributor for this brand in Nepal is Nexon Ventures under the Weber Group, which has introduced the EV model, LEVI 01.
Although an official launch is still pending, some initial information about the vehicle has been shared through a brief program.
The premium electric SUV LEVI 01 has the following dimensions: a length of 4640 mm, width of 1870 mm, and height of 1655 mm, with a wheelbase of 2760 mm.
Powered by a 99 kW motor and a 67.1 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, the LEVI 01 is claimed to offer a range of up to 500 km on a single charge (according to the NEDC cycle). With the use of a DC fast charger, the battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in just 35 minutes.
With a high ground clearance of 210 mm and 19-inch wheels, the LEVI 01 boasts an exterior featuring a dynamic front grille, diamond-cut alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, and suspended taillights. The vehicle offers three driving modes: Sport, Economy, and Normal.
Inside, the cabin is designed for luxury, featuring a leather steering wheel and a high-tech dashboard interface. The EV is built on the Pure EV platform (LEVI X Platform) and comes equipped with safety features like 6 airbags, EBD, ABS, BA, traction control, ESC, parking sensors, cruise control, auto hold, and hill start assist.
The LEVI 01 is available in two variants: Standard and Comfort. The prices for these variants are set at NPR 5,945,000 and NPR 6,845,000, respectively.
