Honda has launched the new version of its compact sedan, the “All-New Amaze,” at an introductory price of 8 lakh INR. The new Amaze is available only with a petrol engine, and the top-spec variant is priced at 10.90 lakh INR. The new Amaze is offered in three variants: V, VX, and ZX.
Design:
The new Amaze features a bold design similar to the Honda City and Elevate. The front gets a large grille with sleek LED headlights and DRLs on both sides. The grille is topped with a connected chrome strip, and the upgraded clamshell bonnet adds a premium touch. At the rear, it features LED tail lamps and a redesigned bumper. Other design elements include a shark fin antenna, reverse camera, and new alloy wheels. The design of the new Amaze is significantly different from the previous model.
Interior and Features:
The cabin of the new Amaze boasts a new dashboard, a large 8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a semi-digital instrument cluster. Premium touches include dual-tone color schemes and new upholstery. Features like automatic air conditioning, rear AC vents, and a wireless phone charger are available. The top variant also comes with a single-pane sunroof.
Safety Features:
For safety, the new Amaze is equipped with 6 airbags, an advanced driver assistance system, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and autonomous emergency braking. Other safety features include ABS with EBD, hill-hold assist, parking sensors with a reverse camera.
Engine:
The new Honda Amaze retains the old 1.2-liter petrol engine, which generates 90 HP of power and 110 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
